| Announcement on Categories | We are pleased to inform you that the Butcher Butte Bunch (Fenton) is adding a couple local categories to the list of acceptable categories: City Slicker and Prospector. These new categories allow for more choices in guns that can be used. For example, we will now allow the use of .22 rimfire revolvers and long guns with exposed hammers in competition. Long guns must be either lever action or pump action. City Slicker requires only 1 single action revolver and it may be staged (no holster), and shotgun is optional. This category is not eligible for awards (which are simply bragging rights). Prospector requires 2 revolvers and holsters, the afore-described long guns and is eligible for awards. Both of these categories are for any age and any gender shooter. |
